Since we are "an infrastructure provider", here's the infrastructure we provide. We exist in both physical and virtual dimensions, with all resources available to the public.

[edit] Physical Location

SYN/HAK is located at 21 W. North St. Akron, OH 44310. We have two areas, the Main Space and the Perkins Room. Overall it is estimated that SYN/HAK has about 2,000 square feet (this number is debated due to all of us forgetting to measure it and write it down.)

[edit] Main Space

Half of our space is an ideal place for dirty fabrication. It's tends to be chilly in the winter and we assume it will be hot in the winter. We recommend that people dress according to the weather when coming to SYN/HAK. Our Main Space is wear the majority of our machinery is located.

We are constantly adding new things to our space so this is just a small idea of what we have to offer.

[edit] Hands On Experiences

At SYN/HAK, we are passionate not only about our own projects but helping others with their projects as well. It's odd how we manage to attract such knowledgeable people. We have classes at least twice a month the the goal of keeping things as hands on as humanly possible. Check out our Speakers Bureau for class dates and times.

If we are not giving a class about your interest, hobby, or project we usually can find someone with the know how to help. SYN/HAK's most valuable resource is our network of people passionate about what they do.
