Announcements

• Devin talks about puzzle wood things that make dinosaurs. He wants to make a full-size one made of plywood. Maybe for maker faire. Trever says it should shoot fire. Cleveland might care if we burn down the bridge. Possibly.
• Circuit hacking mondays, hosted by User:Tdfischer. Every monday, 7 PM.
• Chris interrupts with a minor thing: When we first got the domain synhak.org, it was under his name. Next week we'll go through the process of transferring it to SYNHAK, Inc, by putting it on our shiny new debit card that should show up soon(ish).

• Proposal by Andrew Leitholf: http://desktopfactory2012.istart.org/ Competition to build a 3D printer ABS/PLA filament machine. 1.75mm filament runs ~ 40USD/2 lbs yet pellets/raw materials are cents per pound. The competition is to build a machine that creates 1.75 +/-0.05mm filament from raw feedstock and costs less than $250 dollars to build. The purse is 40,000 USD and a few fabrication machines to the first operational machine.
