7:30- By-Laws Discussion

• Devin has previously approved the bylaws, Trever approves of them so approval is needed by G, Chris, and Mark.
• Cue Jeopardy theme music while Chris and Mark read the bylaws.
• Both Mark and Chris approved the bylaws
• 7:48-Hours of the space:
  • If the door to the bathroom is locked, don't knock on the door, and you will need a key to enter.
• What should we do in case of a break in?
  • There is a camera in the space and aluminium bars may be put over the windows
• What should we charge for pop and beer?
  • Right now it is $2.00 for beer and $.50 for pop

7:56- Membership Dues

• Trever suggested
  • $35/month for general membership,
  • $15 for students provided they provide proof of enrollment as a full-time student,
  • $25/month for the starving hakker level.
  • $105/month is the uber geek level
    • Motion for membership dues passes
    • Perhaps a discount on dues for people who pay annually
• Keys
  • Everyone seems to agree that being member makes you eligible to get a key.
  • Key cost
    • Mark suggested $50 to assign value to the key
    • Everyone seemed to agree on $25 one time deposit
    • $20 deposit, $5 manufacturing costs.
      • Motion passed
• Start up fees?
  • perhaps later when we have a space but not now since we don't have a lot to offer
    • we'll discuss that as a possibility when we have a space

8:15- Intellectual Property

• Omar brought up intellectual property rights
• Do intellectual property rights need to be in the by laws?
• Things like that seem to fall under the rule of "Be excellent to each other"

8:25- Break Officer elections

• We need at least two champions (up to four), secretary, and CFO
• Penny volunteered to be both CFO and secretary and ran uncontested so it passed
• Trever, Chris, and Omar put their names in to be champions.
• All three accepted those positions
  • So in summation the officers are
    • Champions: Chris Egeland, Trever Fischer, and Omar Rassi
    • CFO and secretary: Penny Golightley

Board Elections

• Trever motioned to add one more person to the board (i.e. Penny)
  • the concern is that it would make an even number of board members
• Penny motioned to be a board member
  • motioned passed

When should we collect member dues?

• you will needs to pay dues for the month to use things

Opening Day

• We will be having build your own circuits available for sale. Price to be discussed.
• Make a mold to use in the vacuum former
• Homebrewing demonstrations
• Pinball refurbishing
• Markus would also like to give a presentation
  • Markus will from now on talk in the third person
• Omar will make an introduction presentation
