What is a Hackerspace?

A hackerspace is defined (by hackerspaces.org) as a community-operated place where people can meet and work on their projects. Developing something cool? Want to get your geek on with other techies in the Akron area? Do you know the difference between a microcontroller and a table? Maybe you want to combine the two somehow. Then SYN/HAK might be a good place for you to check out. :)

Membership

Membership is based on what you're willing to contribute. A space without a space isn't worth much, so monetary dues are mandatory. To see the options available, check out Member Dues.

Until we get a board and non-profit status, nobody owes any dues. The above page is merely a proposal.
